Each month we have a range of activities, events and courses available for FREE at BITMOs GATE, which is the new resource centre next to Belle Isle TMO’s housing office on Belle Isle Road.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS HAPPENING IN MARCH…
Ancestry-Hour ANCESTRY GROUP With JULIE
Discover your family history and uncover relatives every Monday 10am – 12pm and 1 – 3pm.
Come and find out what your Ancestors were up to, in an relaxed and informal atmosphere with Julie.
Julie has been researching Family Trees for some time now. Bring some information with you and Julie will try her best to research your tree. Cups of Tea and Coffee provided.
COMPUTER COURSES
Our computers are available to use for free between 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
BEGINNERS COMPUTER CLASSES (Mondays)

LEEDS LETS GET ACTIVE Free fitness class Mondays 4.15 – 5pm
New for Monday it’s Snakes and Ladders themed to help launch our new Monday night Games Group; playing just for fun, the group will meet on Mondays between 3pm and 6pm to compete at cards, dominoes and various board games!
TASTY TUESDAYS In partnership with South Leeds Food-bank and the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust. BITMOs GATE will be offering a hot meal to service users – soup and a bread roll – each Tuesday between 11am to 1pm.

Talk to Chris, our Financial Inclusion Officer, about your money worries, debt and benefit queries. Tuesdays 9am – 1pm
CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU
If you need help and advice to resolve a problem, you can visit the Citizens Advice Bureau at BITMOs GATE on Wednesday mornings. Appointments are required, please call (0113) 378 2190.
GUITAR IN THE COMMUNITY
Learn how to read music and play chords for free in a friendly group setting every Wednesday 7 – 9pm.
BT GET IT TOGETHER COMPUTER CLASS
With Douglas, no need to book, just come along. Wednesday 10am – 11.30am.
CV HELP AND JOB SEARCHING
Let us get you on the path to employment! We’ll help you to improve your CV, make sure everything is accurate and presented correctly and uploaded to job sites.
Come and see us for help with your CV and job searching on Tuesdays at 2 – 4pm or Thursdays 1pm – 3pm.
RECOGNISING YOUR STRENGTHS Bitmo course.
An 8 week training course designed to improve your confidence and self-esteem.
