Tots, Tea and Toast is on the move

St Luke’s Church is going through a lot of changes with work to extend the building ongoing, this extension will mean a bigger space for the community to use when it’s finished in 2020.

St Luke’s Tots, Tea and Toast is a term time toddler group which is usually held within St Luke’s Church but has had to go on tour recently due to the building work, it has had a break over the summer but started again on Tuesday 10 September 2019 thanks to the United Free Church on Malvern Road.

Tots Tea and Toast will meet at the usual time of 9.30 at the United Free Church offering an assortment of age appropriate toys for the children and free refreshments for the grown-ups, finishing around 11.15 after song time. Tots Tea and Toast is for everyone with young children or who is pregnant including childminders, fathers and grandparents so please do try it out and take a friend who you think might enjoy it!

Every other week the Leeds Cloth Nappy Library meets at the group and offers instruction and loan on cloth nappies, reusable wipes and an assortment of reusable eco friendly items. You need to pre book via their Facebook page and they will be happy to help you with any question and if you have an older child they are welcome to join in with Tots Tea and Toast and you can stop for refreshments afterwards.

The group also offers holiday activities, through the summer the group met at a variety of locations including the local park and the Donkey Sanctuary Hope Pastures where the children enjoyed a sunny day out with a picnic meeting the residents and eventually adopting Lily on behalf of the group.

If you’re unsure or nervous about attending or just want more information about where they are meeting get in touch with them on the Tots Tea & Toast Facebook page and the team will get back to you.
