Thieves make away with public phones in Beeston

At least three public telephone boxes have been vandalised in Beeston after thieves ripped away their telephones.

One BT public telephone booth on Dewsbury Road was found on Monday 1 April 2019 with its telephone wrenched away, while two back-to-back telephone boxes on nearby Tunstall Road have also met the same fate.

West Yorkshire Police and the BT crime team, who work together closely on such matters, have been informed of the incidents and are investigating.
