Man arrested after stabbing in Middleton

A man was stabbed last night on Throstle Lane, Middleton, Leeds. Three Police vans were still on the scene and at a house nearby this morning (20 March 2021).

The area is still cordoned off this morning with markers, marking droplets of blood and more.

Scene of Crime officers remain at the scene. If you are a witness to the stabbing, please contact the Police by ringing 101 or using 101 Live Chat .

All of whole arcade of shops area is cordoned off. Please use back entrance if you want to use the Post Office.

In a statement West Yorkshire Police said:

“Police were called to reports of a man having been stabbed on Throstle Lane, Leeds at around 1am this morning (Saturday 20 March)

“A man was left with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.

“Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 63 of today.

“A 19-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm and remains in police custody.”
