Sponsors sought for South Leeds Academy football teams

My name is Ify and I am a Year 10 pupil at South Leeds Academy. I am a member of the Student Leadership team and due to my involvement with the many sports teams at the Academy, my role is to represent Sport & PE.

South Leeds AcademyWe are seeking a sponsor to enable us to purchase a new football kit for the Academy football team. We currently only have one kit which is being used by all the year groups and we need more to ensure we can play as many fixtures as possible. I play for the Year 10 football team as a striker and we are doing extremely well at the moment. We are currently top of the league having won all our games and this is the first year we have had a football team!

We are seeking £400 to allow us to buy the new kit and should you be able to sponsor us, your logo will appear on the front of our shirts. Furthermore, our Head of PE, Mr Waide, will arrange for us to have a team photo and for the news to be published in the Evening Post, as well as other local media; through social media sites such as Twitter and through the booklets and newspapers published locally.

As an Academy and a Student Leadership Team we are extremely keen to build strong and positive relationships within the community and we believe this would be an excellent opportunity for everyone to see a new partnership between South Leeds Academy and your company.

Should you wish to discuss this opportunity further please do not hesitate to contact our Head of PE and our football coach, Mr Waide on (0113) 212 7147.

Yours in Sport.

  1. Hi Ify ,

If you don’t get a sponsor why don’t you and the lads do a sponsored event . If you put a lot of work into it im sure you could raise £1000 through staff , family ,friends and social networks . I will gladly put £5 towards it .

    Good luck

    Sean
