The YEP follows up our couple of posts on today’s launch of a campaign to bring thousands of empty Leeds houses back into use, which is being launched in Beeston today (sorry YEP, it’s not an exclusive!). And the paper updates us on the latest preparations for this year’s Beeston Festival.
Friends of Middleton Park have posted more photos of the ongoing development work in the park and specifically the Lakeside Centre.
Voice of Holbeck blog reminds residents about the next meeting of the group, which will be held next week and will discuss Holbeck issues.
Anti-social behaviour was discussed at the latest community meeting in the Brooms area of Belle Isle. Holbeck NPT report on a charity football tournament in south Leeds to raise awareness of Autism, which was run in conjunction with a Cottingley mum. Police also gave a crime update at the recent Beeston Forum meeting.
