Slideshow: Cinderella is a hit at The Hunslet Club

On Friday 1 and Sunday 3 December 2017 The Hunslet Club hosted its annual Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, the timeless tale of good triumphing over evil. The cast played to packed houses of over 200 people at each performance entertaining everyone with singing, dancing and some great comedy moments.

This year’s cast included a mother and daughter partnership in Donna Hall, the Youth Development Manager at the Club and her 11 year old daughter Isabelle who played the ugly sisters, Beryl and Cheryl.

The production was directed by three drama graduates from Huddersfield University who volunteered their time working with a cast of over 25 Hunslet Club members and staff.

Operations Manager at the Club, Andrea Edwards commented as follows:

“It’s amazing to see all the hard work of the cast and crew come together and the local community enjoying  some traditional family fun to kick-start The Hunslet Club’s festive events programme.”
