Round Foundry hosts International Women’s Day business panel

The Round Foundry and Marshall’s Mill Estate is hosting its first International Women’s Day Panel on Thursday 7 March 2019, the eve of International Women’s Day. The panel, which is free of charge to attend, looks to celebrate the successes and discuss issues still facing women in business in Leeds.

Taking place between 6-8pm at the Elmwood offices on the estate on Water Lane, the panel is the result of feedback from tenants looking to advocate and support women in business. The event will give attendees a chance to raise and discuss their concerns and feedback with the panel.

Panellists include Sarah Dear, Managing Partner of Elmwood, Jilly Langley, Director at MediaCom North, and Deborah Ogden, personal brand specialist and entrepreneur. Each panellist will give an individual talk about their personal experience, followed by a 30-minute Q&A, after which attendees will be invited to ask questions of the panel. The event will be presented by Debbie Longbottom, Finance Director at Elmwood.

Lisa Ellen Riley, Events Co-Ordinator at The Round Foundry and Marshall’s Mill commented:

“This is a great opportunity to really shout about the successful impact of women in business in Leeds, as well as provide a forum to share ideas about what can still be improved on when it comes to gender inequality and how we might go about that.”
