Myself and my family were asked to visit the Wrongsemble production of Princess and the Sprout and other festive tales at the Leeds Central Library on Sunday (9 December 2018).

My two year old seemed very excited, but my six year old was concerned he might have to eat or smell sprouts, which he hates. On the way there we reassured him it was just a show and he won’t have to eat sprouts, but he wasn’t looking forward to it at all. Our two year old on the other hand seemed excited.
We arrived at the Library, greeted by a pleasant woman who actually went to university with Sarah a few years back (honestly). We made our way upstairs with the oldest still moaning about going. On entry we were invited to take a seat with the other families, kids seats and chill out rugs at the front, whilst adults were seated behind.
The show started with various tales and the acting was very professional and of very good quality, the kids laughed and smiled and my oldest boy was quite quickly won over by the show, shouting out and interacting with the cast, it was brilliant.
At the end my son was keen to have his photo taken with the cast, despite not wanting to go.
