Local police hit the airwaves on South Leeds Community Radio

Police community support officers Johnny Wilson and Dave Lythe have teamed up with South Leeds Community Radio to deliver the latest news from the South Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Teams over the air, writes PCSO Johnny Wilson.

Officers are on South Leeds Community Radio every weekday at 11am and 4pm. They discuss the latest news from the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams, give out crime prevention advice and give updates on the latest Police And Communities Together (PACT) meetings and policing priorities.

Officers also have special guests on the show and discuss policing and community matters with them. If you can’t tune in at 11am or 4pm, the show is available as a podcast on the South Leeds Community Radio website so you can listen to it at your own leisure!

And the good news for South Leeds Life readers is there will be news and crime prevention tips courtesy the South Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Teams coming to this blog and in our magazine soon!
