Middleton Primary School has opened its doors to a brand-new nursery, welcoming both full-time and part-time 3-4 year olds into a purposefully planned learning environment that’s already winning hearts across the community.
Since September, the school’s newest addition has been buzzing with excitement as young children explore their specially designed space and enjoy a completely renovated playground that underwent transformation over the summer months.
Leading the nursery provision are two highly qualified professionals whose combined decades of experience in Early Years have been instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
The team includes a qualified teacher and a qualified NNEB (Nursery Nurse Examination Board practitioner), bringing a wealth of expertise to support each child’s development. The impact on families has been immediate and heartfelt.
One parent of twins currently attending the nursery captured the sentiment perfectly: “It is like dropping them off with family, this really feels like a second home for them.”
This feedback reflects the school’s commitment to creating not just an educational setting, but a true extension of home where children feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
The new nursery space has been carefully designed to support children’s development across all areas of learning. Combined with the renovated outdoor playground, children now have access to high-quality facilities that encourage exploration, creativity and physical development.
The addition of the nursery provision represents Middleton Primary School’s ongoing commitment to serving the local community and providing excellent educational opportunities from the earliest years. The school is delighted to announce that places are still available for children aged 3-4 years old, with both full-time and part-time options to suit family needs.
