New Little Library opens in Beeston at Touchstone

It was our pleasure to have funded the installation of a Free Little Library at Touchstone House, on Beeston Hill, just off Dewsbury Road.

There are few things that beat the feel of a physical book; an experience many of us have lost in this digital age.

Providing access to free reading material for children and families in the area is one of our priorities as we know access to these wonderful physical items is sometimes lacking.

We believe the Free Little Library will be great gateway to more people accessing the amazing library services at Dewsbury Road Community Hub.

We are in conversation with other local groups to see where other Free Little Libraries can be installed, not just on Beeston Hill, but across Hunslet and other parts of the ward.

We hope residents enjoy this beautiful pieces of artwork and amazing additions to our community.

We would also like to thank the people at Fee Little Libraries for creating this wonderful piece of art and to Touchstone for being it’s host.
