New group to help young parents stay safe

A new group has been set up for young parents in South Leeds that will meet weekly from Wednesday 2 September 2015.

Called ‘Young Parents Staying Safe Together’, the sessions will look at topics such as positive play, first aid and baby massage. The group has been set up by Connexions and Aspire Igen and will run at Hillside on Beeston Road every Wednesday from 12:30-2:30pm for twelve weeks.

Michelle Bronson from Connexions said:

“Sessions will be a mixture of activities run by outside agencies and ourselves. The aims of the sessions are to increase awareness of all aspects of safety, meet new people and offer support to think about what participants might want to do next.”
