New construction apprenticeship opportunities

Leeds Building Services (LBS) is offering people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to learn new skills and secure an exciting career through the latest round of apprenticeships. LBS, the council’s provider for repairs, maintenance and improvement works to council houses, schools, offices, leisure centers and children’s homes, currently has 41 apprentices and is welcoming 10 new recruits.

Councillor Debra Coupar Executive Member for Communities said:

“Apprenticeships are a great opportunity for young people to earn whilst they learn in a supportive and nurturing environment. I’m proud that we offer opportunities like this so people can in turn contribute to the fantastic work we are doing to develop and improve the quality of housing in Leeds.

“Leeds Building Services are now entering their fourth year of apprenticeships and embracing the benefits apprenticeships are bringing to their workplace.”
