With the busy Christmas season approaching, shops at the White Rose Shopping Centre preparing to recruit extra staff are holding a Jobs Fair on Thursday 18 September 2014.
The Jobs Fair will be held at The Point, Leeds Employment & Skills jobshop within the centre. Businesses including Marks & Spencer, Argos, Game, Schuh, BHS and Nando’s will be present as well partner agencies. Advisers will be on hand to support with applications, C.V.s and to advise on recruitment practices and employer expectations.
The Jobs Fair will also include the promotion of city wide apprenticeship opportunities through The Hub, the Head Start programme and Leeds City College provision due to commence at The Point in September.
Anyone requiring further support following the event will be allocated individual appointments, workshop or drop in sessions or signposted to various appropriate support services.
The Jobs Fair runs from 10am to 6pm on Thursday 18 September at The Point which is on the first floor of the centre near Argos.
