Hunslet police issues discussed at meeting

PC Adam Firth of Holbeck Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the latest Hunslet Tenants And Residents Association meeting, writes Holbeck NPT.

West Yorkshire Police logoResidents said that there had been no further issues with the local priority of youths playing football on Hemmingway Garth.

PCSO Kay Kennedy also reports that despite making regular patrols at this location she has not found any footballers. It was therefore agreed that this local priority would be closed. There were no suggestions for new local priorities at this time.

One resident did, however, mention that there is possible drug dealing to local youths from an address in the area. Holbeck NPT will make some enquiries into this issue.

Another resident mentioned about wagons parked on the footpath on Pepper Road. This was raised to PCSO Rob Manning at the last meeting and he will be asked for an update for the next meeting, which will be on Wednesday 5 December.
