Holbeck Gala goes ahead next Saturday

The Holbeck Gala committee are delighted to confirm that this year’s Holbeck Gala will still be going ahead.

The committee have spent a lot of time planning for different scenarios based on when certain Covid restrictions may be lifted and are glad to announce that the gala is still able to go ahead as planned on Saturday 3 July 2021, 12-4pm on Holbeck Moor.

We’ve got lots of exciting activities planned for the day from a climbing wall, donkey rides, fairground, football, stalls, magicians, live music, food, beer tent and kids entertainment! It’s set to be a brilliant day!

In addition to the normal day time event there is also going to be an ‘Evening of Holbeck Gala’ at 6:30-8:30pm on the moor with a live 60’s covers band, beer tent and fair ground rides after a break from 4-6:30pm to pack down the main gala event.

In order to adhere to Covid guidance and regulations there will be a few small changes; the whole event will be fenced off with numbers being monitoring to ensure we don’t go over capacity, all food and drinks must be consumed sat at tables provided and the beer tent will be running a table service. In certain areas of the gala masks may be required and there will be hand sanitising stations around the site and track and trace details to be given on entrance or QR code scanned.

As a committee we can’t wait to welcome people back to Holbeck Gala and we’re sure it’s going to be a fantastic day for the community of Holbeck!
