Free employment related training in January

Multiple free courses linked with employment opportunities coming up in the New Year

Leeds training provider Think Employment are offering three Vacancy-led Skills Programmes in January that come with the chance of earning a job with well-known local organisations.

The one-week courses in Warehousing and Storage, Customer Service and Business Administration are free to people in Leeds and provide important skills, knowledge and qualifications to help boost their chances of finding work.

On Monday 21 January 2019 the first of two consecutive Warehousing and Storage courses begin. The training is being run in conjunction with Wetherby-based kitchen and bathroom specialists Moore Furniture Group who are on the lookout for Factory Operatives to join their team.

Also taking place that week is Customer Service training which is linked to Sales Assistant jobs available with Morrisons, one of the UK’s biggest supermarket chains.

While the following week, Think Employment will also host a Business Administration workshop to assist anyone interested in acquiring a role in one of Leeds’ busiest job sectors.

“Whatever industry you’d like to work in – Warehousing, Retail or Administration – we’ve got a training course for you in January,” said Andrew Massow, Think Employment’s Business Development Manager.

“All of our courses have been designed to help people gain vital skills, knowledge and qualifications so they have a long and successful career in their industry of choice.

“And with the prospect of jobs at the end of our training, with great companies like Moores and Morrisons, there’s even more incentive for people to sign up for our free courses.”

Think Employment deliver pre-employment training that meets the needs of adults across the whole of the North of England – not just Leeds. They are mostly designed to help unemployed people over the age of 19 upskill and have a better chance of finding work.

The training provider delivered over 2,400 nationally-recognised qualifications and helped more than 1,600 people improve their workplace skills in the last 12 months alone.
