White Rose Shopping Centre will celebrate the wizarding world on Saturday 25 May – with magical props and an enchanted 1960s’ Ford Anglia.
For one day only, shoppers and fans of Harry Potter are invited to White Rose’s Central Atrium, where wizarding props and the iconic blue car will be available for a unique photo opportunity.
Visitors to White Rose will be able to sit in the front seats of the car, as well as take photos with magical items such as a broomstick, house banners and a sorting hat.
This enchanting event comes in celebration of The Great Wizard, White Rose’s spell-binding store which offers merchandise and unique gifts from the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Shoppers who share their magical photos on social media and tag #WRWizard will also be entered into a prize draw to win a special prize bundle from The Great Wizard store.
Steven Foster, General Manager at White Rose Shopping Centre, said:
“Whether you’re 9 or 90, the magical world has captured all of our imaginations, so we’re incredibly excited to bring some of this to White Rose.
“Being able to sit inside an iconic car, hop on a broomstick and snap a selfie with the sorting hat, is a magical opportunity that should make for a spell-binding day.”
The wizarding event will take place in the Central Atrium on Saturday 25 May 2019 from 9am – 8pm. Entries to the selfie competition close midnight, Monday 27 May.
