Children and young people in South Leeds are being invited to design a poster for the Middleton Park bonfire display.
The competition, sponsored again this year by the White Rose Shopping Centre, is open for any young person up to 16 who lives in South Leeds. There are three prizes on offer with a first prize of £100 White Rose gift card and gardening vouchers for the child’s school or youth club. The winner will also help to light the bonfire and start the firework display.
Posters should be A4 and represent the theme of bonfires and fireworks. The winning entry will be printed to advertise the Middleton Park bonfire, which will take place on Wednesday 5 November.
Entries can be handed in at Middleton Park Visitor Centre (10:15am–2:15pm, Mon-Fri) or posted to Farnley Hall, Farnley Park, Hall Lane, Leeds, LS12 5HA. The closing date is Sunday 19 October 2014.
