Charity show raises more for Kyle foundation

After a successful first show in February, that raised over £600 for the Kyle Asquith Foundation charity, the Extremely Comedy team came back for a second performance at Cockburn School. The performers also worked with groups of Cockburn students in street dance and acrobatics workshops.

Led by funny man Nathan Black, the show is made up of Guinness World record holders, Sky TV Got to Dance and Britain’s Got Talent finalists. The show mixes comedy with incredible unicycle skills, street dance, acrobatics and trials bike tricks. This groundbreaking show is warming up in south Leeds before performances in large venues in Skegness, Manchester and the West End of London later in the year. See their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ExtremelyComedyShow for more information as well as some amazing video clips from the show.

The show was attended by Kyle Asquith’s family. Tracy Asquith said “It was absolutely amazing again. I cannot thank them enough for their support. I wish them good luck with their up and coming shows. They all deserve to be stars!”.

Angus Smith, Assistant Headteacher at Cockburn School said “It was a great show from a brilliant team of people. We are grateful to the performers for bringing their energy to our school again. We look forward to next time!”

These events and a Cockburn School non uniform day at the end of the summer term will likely total over £1500 to the charity that supports the NHS Blood and Transfusion Trust as well as other deserving causes in the local South Leeds community.
