Bus services over the festive period

West Yorkshire Metro has announced how bus services will be affected over the Christmas and New Year period.

Christmas Eve Friday 24 December

A normal weekday service will run until 6pm, after which services will be reduced with no buses running after 8pm. The last buses back to the Park & Rides at Elland Road and Stourton will leave town at about 7pm.

Christmas Day Saturday 25 December

No services except X51 Morley-Leeds-St James’s Hosptal

Boxing Day Sunday 26 December

A special Boxing Day service will operate on main services only, approximately between 9am-6pm. Full deatils here

Bank Holiday Monday & Tuesday 27 & 28 December

A Sunday service will operate on most services. On Tuesday 28 December the last bus to Elland Road Park & Ride will leave from Boar Lane at 2:40pm due to Leeds United home game.

Wednesday & Thursday 29 & 30 December

A Saturday service will operate on most services.

New Year’s Eve Friday 31 December

A Saturday service will operate on most services until 6pm, after which services will be reduced with no buses running after 8pm. The last buses back to the Park & Rides at Elland Road and Stourton will leave town at about 7pm.

New Year’s Day Saturday 1 January

No services except 87 White Rose-Morley

Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday 2 & 3 January

A Sunday service will operate. On Sunday 2 January the Elland Road Park & Ride will not operate due to a Leeds United home game.
