Beeston’s new mosque hosts grand opening

Beeston’s newest mosque, the Jamia Masjid Abu Huraira, on Catherine Grove, just off Tempest Road, opened its doors to worshipers at the weekend (8 September 2018).

This Sunday (16 September 2018) it is holding a grand opening event and the whole community is invited. The open day will be an opportunity to look around the building, find out about its facilities and share refreshments. The event runs from 2:30-5:30pm.

  1. A stunning maajid a central community hub, this will serve as a focus point bringing people together, strengthening community cohesion, dispel misunderstanding about Islam and desiminate education and uplift people spiritually.
