Beeston’s interfaith Walk of Friendship

On Sunday (16 June 2019) there is an opportunity for people in Beeston to join together in friendship, visit different places of worship find out more about beliefs and practices and enjoy each others company.

The walk starts with coffee at Beeston Hill United Free Church on Malvern Road from 12 noon, before visiting the GNNSJ Gudwara (Sikh Temple) on Lady Pit Lane for langar (lunch) and then on to the new Abu Huraira Mosque on Catherine Grove for tea.

The event, which has been organised by Concord Leeds Interfaith Fellowship, finishes at 3:30pm.

Teams from south Leeds will be participating in an interfaith cricket tournament later this month. The event, on Sunday 23 June, is being hosted by East Leeds Cricket Club and supported by Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and Good Deeds.
