Beeston’s Cardinal estate prepares for a spring clean

The Cardinal Estate in Beeston is preparing for a clear out and a spring clean on Friday and Saturday this week.

According to the White Rose Residents Association’s Facebook page, skips will be on the Cardinals on Friday, 30th March, from 4.30pm, until Sat 31st March at 12 noon for people to put their unwanted items, rather than dumping them.

One of the organisers, Yvonne Crowther, said the skips:

“… will be placed at Beeston Juniors, on the grass near the flats on Waincliffe Place, on the corner of Cardinal Walk and Cardinal Road, the grass triangle on at the end of Cardinal Crescent/Cardinal Ave, next to the sub station and bus shelter on Cardinal Road and the grass next to the flats on Ring Road. Things not allowed to be put in the skips are TVs, fridges and tyres. So get ready to clear out folks!”
