Beeston Village Community Centre Still Open Following Car Smash

A car smashed into Beeston Village Community Centre on Tuesday night.

BVCC car damageThe incident has affected the kitchen area of the Centre, which is in the former library building next to Hugh Gaitskell Primary School on St Anthony’s Drive in Beeston.

Pat McGeever, CEO at Health For All which manages the building, said that Beeston Village Community Centre was safe to use following last night’s incident.

Groups using the main hall are able to use the facilities and these activities will continue as normal as refreshments will be able to be made in the hall.

Groups running cookery courses in the kitchen will be found other premises where possible until further notice.
