Everything retro will be on offer at the Feel Good Vintage Fair next Saturday (7 June 2014).
From ‘Kitchenalia’ to clothing, furniture, jewellery and household niceties, the good old days will be returning at the fair which takes place at Hillside in Beeston. As well as the many stalls there will be furniture ‘upstyling’ demonstrations with the opportunity to ask the expert how to re-use that old item and make it special again.
You can get some pampering in the hair and beauty parlour, enjoy the live music and dancing and, of course, indulge yourself with a vintage tea in the tea rooms.
The Vintage Fair has been organised by SLATE (South Leeds Alternative Trading Enterprise) who run the Feel Good Tea Rooms at Hillside and the Feel Good Furniture Shop in Hunslet. SLATE are a registered charity offering work opportunities to people with learning disabilities and promoting re-use and recycling.
The fair runs from 10:30am to 4pm on Saturday 7 June at Hillside on Beeston Road, entry is by donation.
