Art Life: South of the River | BasementArtsProject takes part in Beeston Christmas Trail 2018

On Sunday 2nd December from 1:30 – 5:30pm BasementArtsProject will be part of the Beeston Christmas Trail 2018.

Desire and Alchemy by Michael Borkowsky and Emilia Telese currently at BasementArtsProject

The Christmas Trail will be an opportunity for the people of South Leeds to get out and about and investigate some of the things that are going on in the community, meet new people and get into the festive spirit.

Here at BasementArtsProject, we have extended the final exhibition of 2018 into the New Year and now invite you to join us on Sunday 2nd December for mince pies, mulled wine, tea, coffee and a look at this extraordinary exhibition of art by Sheffield based artist Michael Borkowsy and Italian artist Emilia Telese. Desire and Alchemy uses our sense of smell through a number of custom made perfumes to explore the world of visual art. Come and visit this underground world of sensory overload in which the walls and floors exude the perfumed scents of Emilia Telese’s work and you can try some of Borkowsky’s individual scents for yourself.

We look forward to seeing you there
