Aldi recruiting for new Beeston store

Leeds City Council’s Employment & Skills team have announced dates for briefing sessions for residents planning to apply for jobs at the new Aldi store.

Aldi’s new store on the former police station site just off Dewsbury Road in Beeston is set to open in January 2016 creating up to 40 jobs.

The Employment and Skills Service in partnership with the Area Improvement Team and Aldi will be delivering a number of information briefing sessions to local residents in preparation for the upcoming job opportunities available at the new Aldi store, Burton Road, Beeston. There will be approximately 20-25 jobs available, although some of these positions may be recruited to internally from Aldi’s existing store network.

The sessions will be held at Dewsbury Road One Stop Centre (DROSC) 190 Dewsbury Road, LS11 6PF on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday 4 Nov at 09.30, 10.30, 11.30, 12.30
  • Thursday 5 Nov at 13.30, 14.30, 15.30
  • Monday 9 Nov at 13.30, 14.30, 15.30

Customers will be able to book onto a session through the dedicated telephone numbers provided by Community Hub colleagues on 07891 270655 and 07891 270652. The phones will be live from Wednesday 28 October.
