Acts announced for Leeds Music Trust stage at Beeston Festival

The Leeds Music Trust, a charity that supports new talent and aim to promote the benefits of live music to all, especially to those who would not otherwise have access to such support. LMT is based at the Old Chapel rehearsal studios in Holbeck are presenting four up and coming bands at Beeston Festival 2012 on Saturday 9th June.

The Outsiders
Formed a couple of years ago, The Outsiders have an inclusive ethos and they provide a platform for musicians with learning difficulties. The talent of the band members shines and through one to one tuition, coaching and opportunities to perform the band members are unleashing their full musical potential.

British Daylight

The Scandal is a three piece indie/rock band. The band takes much inspiration from the earlier era of rock, and incorporates this with modern day rock / indie style which brings out driving bass lines along with defined guitar and rhythms , complete with catchy vocals that complement each other.

A brass driven alternative indie band, Benson are excited to be hitting the British music scene. They are quickly gaining a reputation for their energetic live shows and catchy tunes. In a time when too many bands perform their music to people and don’t necessarily entertain the audience, Benson are just trying to make people enjoy themselves, dance and smile! The bands will be performing between 12:30 and 4:30 on the Leeds Music Trust stage, near the Beeston Road end of the Cross Flatts Park. Beeston Festival runs from 12:00 on Saturday 9th June.
