Church conversion to flats and help centre

A planning application to convert the former Methodist Church at the top of Wesley Street in Beeston has been submitted to Leeds City Council. If approved the building would be split with the main church space being turned into eight flats with access from the steps on Town Street; and

Greenhouse gets a bit greener with new hedgerows

Residents of Greenhouse joined up with neighbours last Saturday (24 November 2018) to spend an afternoon planting 250 hedge-plants around the building. Greenhouse is the block of eco-flats and offices at the north end of Beeston Road that was previously Shaftesbury House. With most of the countryside around Leeds being
