Middleton Elderly Aid new Walking Group

A new walking group from Middleton Elderly Aid starts on Wednesday 14 March 2018, 11.30am-12.30pm.

Middleton Elderly Aid Centre

This will be based on the very popular BITMO’s GATE Walk and Talk group, I lead every Monday 11am-12pm.

The Belle Isle walking group will continue to run as its done for the last two and a half years.

Everyone is welcome to both walking groups. We walk at a pace that is OK for everybody.

The walks from Middleton Elderly Aid are second and last Wednesdays in every month.

Dates to put in your diary 14 March,  28 March, 11 April and 25 April and every second and last Wednesday in the month after that.

BITMO’s GATE Walking Group

The walks will be as varied as we can make it. Circular walks around Middleton.
Or a walk taking the group down through Middleton Park to the café for hot drinks and walk back taking in the Middleton Lagoon for photos.

This is along the footpath taking us by St Mary’s Church, and onto Town Street and back to Middleton Elderly Aid for a hot drinks.

Many thanks to Sam of Middleton Elderly Aid, for giving me a chance to create this new walking group.

I’m to take a First Aid course in a couple of weeks, on behalf of Middleton Elderly Aid which will give extra security to the walking group.

Look forward to seeing you all on the 14th March.
