Man arrested over serious assault in Hunslet

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Leeds have arrested a man.

The 29-year-old man was arrested when he attended a police station this morning following a public appeal in relation to the incident in Hunslet on 4 June 2017 which resulted in the victim losing the sight in one eye. The arrested man is currently in custody.

Officers previously appealed to trace Benjamin Kendal, aged 29, from Moortown, in connection with the incident.
