Boy hit by car on Dewsbury Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was injured when he was hit by a black Audi A3 sport in Beeston this morning (22 May 2018).

Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit officers would like to speak to anyone who saw or has information about the incident which took place at about 8.10am on the A653 Dewsbury Road in Beeston, near to the junction with Middleton Grove.

The car stopped at the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to contact PC 1973 Christopher Pittman of the Eastern area Roads Policing Unit on 101.
